Iris pal. Aureo-variegata
$19.95
Iris pallida ‘Aureo-variegata’ also known as ‘Zebra Iris’ is a very old garden plant, still as popular as ever like the white variegated form. It forms a clump of striped sword-like leaves creamy yellow, gold and green. Like to call it a tri-coloured leaf. Excellent for cutting. Blooms a bit higher on top of the foliage. Plants must have excellent drainage, particularly in hot, humid summer regions or areas with wet winters. Clumps may be easily divided every 3 to 4 years in late summer, exactly as you would treat a Bearded Iris. Do not plant deep (roots/rhizome just below soil level) and smell like grape Kool- Aid.
