This impressive new hybrid has perked up the traditional drooping flowers of hellebores with blooms facing outwards, and even upwards, to greet the spring. A delightful cool-season bloomer, a wonderful addition to lightly to deeply shaded beds. Evergreen. They grow best in a part-shade location with organically rich, moist, well-drained soil; a site where it will remain undisturbed for years. Water regularly when dry in the first growing season to establish the root system; once established, it tolerates dry spells in cool, shady settings. Protect roots with a thick layer of mulch. Remove old, faded foliage in spring.  Zone 5
