This silvery new Heuchera is the icing on the cake! Large silver leaves have charcoal-black veins with gentle ruffling. Together they form a dense, mounding habit that holds up from sun to shade. In early summer, upright scapes of deep rose-pink flowers appear. This selection is incredibly floriferous and blooms without vernalization. Compared with fellow DOLCE® companion ‘Silver Gumdrop’, ‘Glazed and Infused’ has a taller, more mounding habit and larger leaves. Benefits from filtered sun or shade in southern zones. Like other Heuchera, ‘Glazed and Infused’ prefers to be sited in well-drained areas to ensure overwintering.
Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.
