We have surpassed our number of online orders for pickup. At this time just use the site as a guideline and prepare a wish list prior to dropping by to choose from those potted. If traveling in May/June to visit feel free to send an email to confirm still in stock. To keep up with us follow us on our social media channels or sign up for our newsletter. Hope you are looking forward to gardening as much as us in 2024.

Allium Millennium

$10.95

Perennial of the Year 2018! Only quarts left
This hybrid from Allium guru Mark McDonough deserves to be perennial of the year!  It forms a compact, upright clump of glossy green, thick and strappy leaves which emit a slight smell of onion when crushed. In late July and August here in Peterborough, a profusion of large 2”, bright rosy purple, tightly rounded clusters of flowers appear on strong stems just above the attractive foliage.

Butterflies and honeybees adore the flowers’ sweet nectar but deer and rabbits steer clear of this perennial beauty.  Drought tolerant plant (xeric).   Zone 5

Fragrant
Attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds
Deer and rabbit resistant
Full sun to Part sun    Blooms Mid to Late summer
Height: (55cm)20″ Diameter: (30cm)12″
